Canned Food Drive

I told my kids today that I really want to win the classroom competition for the most items brought in for the canned food drive because the winning class gets an ice cream party! Then one student asked, "Does there have to be food in the can?"

Visit from Sergeant Walker

We had one more visitor today - Sergeant Curtis Walker from the National Guard answered some second grade questions about what it is like to serve our country.

Keith and Haley celebrated birthdays in November. Keith's birthday was on the 7th and Haley's was on the 30th!

Science: Balance and Motion

While I'm at it, I might as well do a few more updates. In science, we did a unit on balance and motion. The students really enjoyed making a "roller coaster" for a marble to travel through.
