Veterinarian Dr. Bock
Alex's dad also came in to talk about what he does as a veterinarian. He brought in a special guest with him too - their dog, Cody.
Visit from Officer Dierks
We are studying community helpers in social studies. Sara's dad, Officer Dierks was kind enough to visit out classroom, tell us a little bit about what it is like to be a police officer, and answer some of our questions. He also showed us all the tools that he carries with him each night. He said that his belt plus his vest adds 25 pounds to him!

Tin Quill & Ghost Writer
Tin Quill and Ghost Writer are at Disney World. Tin Quill wakes up with Ghost Writer, the T-rex, right in front of him. Tin Quill flies over to a power line. Tin Quill flies off the power line, but Ghost Writer wants to chomp him to bits, so he dives at the power line and gets shocked. ZAP!!
Tin Quill is still trying to get away from Ghost Writer. He doesn’t want to be his lunch. Tin Quill decides to get on the fastest roller coaster called Super Coaster. Ghost Writer follows him onto Super Coaster. Then Tin Quill flies out of the roller coaster when it comes out of the tunnel. Ghost Writer bumps his head on metal and falls out.
Ghost Writer falls down, crashes his head, and changes his mind. He’s not so hungry for a bird after all. He asks if Tin Quill wants to come to lunch with him, not BE his lunch. And they became good friends.
